State and national policy responses to the COVID-19 crisis must consider the very real concerns involving patient access to critical care, as well as the livelihoods of entrepreneurs, businesses, and workers — especially those providing critical services on the frontlines. By working with policymakers and public officials, the Mackinac Center is providing a roadmap for expanding access and empowering innovation to meet these immediate challenges.
