Article XI

Sec. 16: From and after August 1st, 1925, all children residing in the state of Michigan, between the ages of seven years and sixteen years, shall attend a public school until they have graduated from the eighth grade.

Sec. 17: The legislature shall enact all necessary legislation to render said section 16 effective.
