Michigan Constitution of 1963 / Article IV § 13

Constitutional Provision

Article V

Sec. 8: The Legislature shall meet at the seat of government on the first Wednesday in of January, in the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty-one one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine, and on the first Wednesday in of January in every second of each year thereafter, and but at no other place or time, unless except as provided in the this Constitution of the State, and shall adjourn without day at such time as the Legislature shall fix by concurrent resolution. The time of meeting shall be at eleven o’clock in the forenoon, on the day and the time of final adjournment, shall adjourn be at twelve o’clock at noon.
