Our summer interns work in various departments, assisting our staff with outreach, research, and plenty of FOIA requests. They’ll learn the ins-and-outs of the work that goes into shaping Michigan policy, and staff here will likely learn a thing or two from them in return. Here are our interns, the Mackinac Center departments they work in, the colleges they attend, and a book each would recommend.
Jack Belcher is a research intern and a senior at Northern Michigan University.
