Teri Olson was a caring and exuberant woman who loved life and freedom.
She and her husband, D. Joseph Olson, have made a lasting impact on the Mackinac Center through their dedication, financial support and unflagging advocacy of the principles of liberty. Teri was the first to suggest the name “Mackinac” back in 1987. Joe Olson was a founding member of the Center’s board of directors and remains a member today.
The Teresa Leigh Olson Scholarship Endowment was established in 2013 to honor Teri’s rich legacy.
Your gift to this initiative will provide Hillsdale College students the opportunity to complete internships at the Mackinac Center. In this way we plant the seeds of freedom for the next generation.
The Mackinac Center for Public Policy is a nonprofit research and educational institute that advances the principles of free markets and limited government. Through our research and education programs, we challenge government overreach and advocate for a free-market approach to public policy that frees people to realize their potential and dreams.
Please consider contributing to our work to advance a freer and more prosperous state.
