Are Schools Underfunded?

School funding is a policy issue that affects nearly everyone in the state. The school aid fund is the largest state expenditure and about 30 different taxes go to pay for public schools. For these reasons, public debates about school revenues, expenses and results erupt annually. Below are some resources on current and perennial issues surrounding Michigan's public school system.
