The Mackinac Center family is saddened by the passing of Peter Secchia. Ambassador Secchia represented Michigan and the United States nobly through his acts of service to our country and to his community. We are blessed to have known him as a good friend and supporter since the early 1990s. He was also a member of the Mackinac Center’s board of advisors.
“Peter advanced the best principles of America with wisdom, wit, and signature vigor," said Mackinac Center President Joseph G. Lehman. "May God bless his memory and his family.”
