Dr. Mike Williamson served as an educator in Michigan for over 40 years, as a teacher, district superintendent, and consultant. His service includes seven years as Deputy Superintendent of the Michigan Department of Education during the Engler administration.
Dr. Williamson is retired, but still plays close attention to public schools, which are attended by his four grandchildren. He encourages reforms that would make schools more interesting and more productive. He believes children should love school and thrive on achievement.
