Wright; Nancy Kurdziel, president of Prime Housing Inc.; and Russ Harding, senior environmental policy analyst at the Mackinac Center and a former head of the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.

Wright spoke about the turbulent history of Michigan’s judicial rulings on eminent domain and about local governments’ ongoing abuse of blight designations to achieve takings of well-maintained homes and businesses.
