Policy Considerations

Since private-practice teaching is an emerging and little-understood field, not much has been written about the subject, nor has much attention been paid to the concept of private-practice teaching among education policy makers. Private-practice teaching and contracting for instruction in the public schools raise a number of policy questions for consideration.
