Patrick L. Anderson
Patrick L. Anderson. a Senior Policy Analyst for the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, is the author of numerous monographs on the Michigan economy, the Detroit economy, the Michigan Single Business Tax, and tile "Headlee" amendment to the Michigan constitution. and has contributed articles on economic policy to The Detroit News, The Wall Street Journal, and Crain's Detroit Business. Previously a graduate fellow for the Central Intelligence Agency and an economist for Manufacturers National Bank of Detroit. Mr. Anderson is currently an Assistant Vice President at Alexander Hamilton Life Insurance Company of America in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Mr. Anderson received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in Public Policy, both from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Mr Anderson was the Vice Chairman of the Michigan Consumers Council from 1985 through 1988, and is currently a director of Taxpayers United for the Michigan Constitution and a member of the Detroit Area Economic Forum and the National Association of Business Economists. He lives in Farmington with his wife Madhu and son Neal.
