Assistant to the President
Amy Kellogg was the eighth employee hired by the Mackinac Center. She began her time with the center in 1994, then returned full time in 2015 as the assistant to the president after 13 years contributing to our projects on a freelance basis and raising her family.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in office systems administration from Central Michigan University and is experienced in all the behind-the-scenes tasks that make an office function. She facilitated and smoothed the Mackinac Center’s move from offices behind a local pizza parlor to its own building in 1997, and has handled everything from event planning to copy editing during her tenure.
A native of Midland, Amy continues to reside there with her two children.
