John R. La Plante is an adjunct scholar for the Mackinac Center for Public Policy and an education policy fellow with the Flint Hills Center for Public Policy in Wichita, Kansas. In addition to a variety of essays and research projects for the Mackinac Center, he has authored fiscal policy articles for the Thomas Jefferson Institute in Virginia and the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs. He is a graduate of Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo.
