About the Role
The Donor Relations role plays a pivotal part in our advancement team, focusing on cultivating relationships with existing supporters who may be interested in increasing their involvement with the Mackinac Center. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, this position requires exceptional phone skills, a strong intuition for relationship-building, and a collaborative mindset.
The primary goal of this position is to engage current supporters, identify those with the potential to expand their giving, and transition them into relationships with other team members. Success in this role requires enthusiasm for creating connections and a willingness to facilitate introductions to teammates. This role does not maintain a personal portfolio of donors but instead focuses on consistently elevating supporters into deeper partnerships with the Mackinac Center.
