Claire S. Forman

Research Analyst to the President

Claire S. Forman is a research analyst to the president of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy and assists him in preparing speeches and written commentaries. She started work at the Center in June 2009.

Forman is part of the prestigious Koch Associate Program, which provides apprenticeships to promising college graduates interested in careers with free-market nonprofit organizations. She holds a bachelor's degree from George Mason University, with dual majors in global affairs and Latin American studies, and with a minor in economics.

As part of her degree, Forman studied in Argentina and Peru and attended conferences in the United Arab Emirates and Honduras, where she also performed development work. In addition, she served as George Mason University's student body vice-president and as a "Mason Ambassador," promoting the university to prospective students and their families.

Forman is a native of Bowling Green, Ky., and currently resides in Midland, Mich.
