Flipped Classrooms Underline Student Learning

Through digital learning, more Michigan schools are participating in the "flipped classroom." Students learn at home — often through online videos — enabling classroom time to be spent with the teacher on project-based learning or individual student mentoring.

Failure rates at Clintondale High School in Metropolitan Detroit have dropped dramatically in all subjects. What's more impressive is that 70 percent of all enrolled students come from low-income households.
