MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - It's not hard to find Michigan students of all ages volunteering to help others during the holiday season. Here are a few examples from media reports throughout the state:
Trisha Nutt, a Grand Haven High School special education teacher and freshmen student adviser, told the Grand Haven Tribune that the students took charge of the event.
"It means a lot to know that there are students who enjoy doing things for others," she told the Tribune.
