This part-time position offers a behind-the-scenes look at how funds are raised to support the liberty movement in Michigan. The primary responsibility of the person in this role is to conduct research on current and prospective supporters of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. However, the candidate also will gain an overview of donor relations, donor meetings, donor-related mail and email efforts and more.
The preferred candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate a great degree of professionalism, and show ability to manage highly confidential information. Experience in use of relational databases and competence in Word and Excel is a plus.

The employment term is a minimum of 15-20 hours per week and should be expected to contine through the remainder of the 20-21 academic year, with potential for further employment opportunity. Interns are compensated at the rate of $12 per hour and are employed on an at-will basis.
