He invested $250 million in The New York Times in 2009 and is reportedly planning to double his stake in the liberal news company by the end of 2014. Bill Gates ($80.6 billion) and Warren Buffett ($67 billion) were No. 2 and No. 3 on the Forbes list of world billionaires and they both contributed to President Barack Obama’s campaign. Charles and David Koch both have a net worth of $41.9 billion and are listed as No. 6.
