Dr. Wayland Gardner is an Emeritus Professor of Economics at Western Michigan University, where he has taught for 37 years. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin and previously taught at North Dakota State University and the University of Maryland. He has authored a book on government finance and co-authored a book on economics. Gardner is a member of the Michigan Public-Private Partnership Commission.
