On Sept. 5, 2007, Michael D. LaFaive, director of the Morey Fiscal Policy Initiative at the Mackinac Center, was a guest on "The Greg Marshall Show" on WMKT in Traverse City. LaFaive discussed the skyrocketing costs of school employee benefits, and the attempts by the Michigan Education Association to control the benefit costs of the employees it uses to fight against schools that attempt to do the same.
