On Dec. 7, 2006, Diane S. Katz, director of science, environment and technology policy for the Mackinac Center, was a guest on "The Frank Beckmann Show" on WJR 760 AM in Detroit. Katz, co-author of "Assessing Stricter Mercury Controls in Michigan," discussed her report and the in-depth analysis it gives to Gov. Jennifer Granholm’s directive that Michigan's coal-fired power plants reduce mercury emissions by 90 percent. Parts one, two and three total 10 minutes, 2 seconds.
