History is unfolding in Michigan as the state's new right-to-work law goes into effect. Union members and non-union members are determining how the law will impact their lives. According to Unionstats.com, 17.1 percent of Michigan's workforce is unionized. Most of those workers are in the public sector, where unions cover more than half of workers. This video features a sample of workers visiting a public library. Some said the law will have no impact on their life, while two weren't sure how the law would affect their union. Another says he has already investigated how he can opt out.
