From the “Friday Facts” of the Georgia Public Policy Foundation:

In last week’s edition, we quoted an Investor’s Business Daily editorial saying “the Democratic health plan would prohibit the sale of private health insurance policies” for individuals. This is technically incorrect, although the Heritage Foundation argues, “IBD is wrong: individual health insurance will not be outlawed. But it will be effectively regulated out of existence … which is effectively the same thing.”
