He also busts the myths that legislators already have access to a public option and that opposing the public plan is opposing competition in the health care market.

Rep. Ryan also points out at around 4:17 that when an amendment to include all members of Congress into the public option was introduced to the bill to show that the public plan is up to snuff and worthy of the trust of the American public, it failed.
