MIDLAND — Various aspects of climate change — including its causes and government’s role, if any — will be debated from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 6 in Room 105 of South Kedzie Hall at Michigan State University. The featured speakers are Christopher Horner, a senior fellow at the market-oriented Competitive Enterprise Institute and attorney who has represented members of Congress on environmental issues before the U.S. Supreme Court, and Peter Sinclair, creative director of Greenman Studio, a multimedia production company in Midland, Mich., and presenter for former Vice President Al Gore’s Climate Project.
The event will begin with the two speakers’ opening statements, followed by a question-and-answer session with the audience and by the speakers’ closing statements. The event, sponsored by the Michigan-based Students for a Free Economy, is open to the public and free of charge. Horner and Sinclair will be available to answer questions from the media after the event.
