On Dec. 3, Thomas W. Hazlett spoke in Lansing to lawmakers, policy analysts and news media gathered for the Mackinac Center’s "Issues and Ideas" monthly policy luncheon. Hazlett is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, and former chief economist for the Federal Communications Commission.
