The Mackinac Center is the largest and, arguably, the most vigorous of the 40 state-based policy institutes in the country.
Cited in media reports and stories over 1,200 times every year. The list of newspapers and magazines includes: The Detroit News and The Detroit Free Press, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Forbes magazine, and Investor’s Business Daily.
Other policy institutes in the U.S. and foreign countries are replicating the Mackinac Center’s programs and procedures and, consequently, free-market thought is influencing public policy and improving lives across the globe.
The Mackinac Center holds semi-annual training sessions for policy institute executives. As of April 2009, we have trained 579 executives representing 46 states and 47 foreign countries.
The Mackinac Center for Public Policy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and your gift is fully tax deductible.
