Following the tragic events of Sept. 11, the 2001 national high school debate topic, Resolved: That the United States federal government should establish a foreign policy significantly limiting the use of weapons of mass destruction, has taken on an added air of urgency.  Expert speakers at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy's 14th Annual High School Debate Workshops, being held through Sept. 27, are addressing for concerned students all aspects of the topic including the threat posed by international terrorism.  Both the Detroit News and Detroit Free Press are providing extensive coverage of the workshops
