The Mackinac Center regretfully announces the cancellation of its Liberty Seminar, originally scheduled for September 15 in Lansing. We remain committed to offering news and analysis of this November’s ballot proposals to Michigan residents. You can find our latest information under the heading “MIballot2012” at this website. We also are sponsoring a Speakers Bureau in connection with the ballot proposals; for more information on that program, please call 989-631-0900.
The Mackinac Center is pleased to invite you to its forthcoming Liberty Seminar, which features keynote speaker Clifford W. Taylor, retired chief justice of the Michigan Supreme Court. Justice Taylor will join Mackinac Center policy analysts in considering five of Michigan's 2012 ballot proposals in light of our country's founding principles of personal and economic liberty.
*JUST ADDED: Come hear why Rand Paul weighed in on Mallory Factor's book, SHADOWBOSSES with: "well-researched, thoroughly documented, and enlightening.” And why Donald Rumsfeld wrote: “a story that needed to be told, and Factor tells it with force.” Come see MALLORY FACTOR in person and hear why Steve Forbes wrote, of SHADOWBOSSES: “a must read for anyone wanting to save our nation.”
All attendees will receive a complete collection of Liberty Seminar materials covering:
- the fundamental principles of freedom
- liberty and the rule of law
- the relationship between free markets and personal liberty.
