NFIB Criticizes Drive to Make Private Businesses and Contractors Into 'Government Employees'
Beckmann writes about it in The Detroit News
Charlie Owens, Michigan state director of the National Federation of Independent Business, was a guest on "The Frank Beckmann Show" on WJR this morning discussing a friend of the court brief the NFIB has filed in the Mackinac Center Legal Foundation's Loar v. DHS lawsuit challenging the forced unionization of some 40,000 small-business owners and private contractors in Michigan.
The interview is 9 minutes and 33 seconds.
Beckmann also wrote about the issue in his weekly Detroit News column, saying the result of the lawsuit is important to Michigan.
"It will tell us whether our state will require transparent, fair treatment of its citizens in the future, or whether powerful special interest groups will continue to divert taxpayer dollars for their own benefit with the aid of those they helped elect."
