MEGA frequently publicizes the approval of new tax credit deals with press releases that suggest that the new jobs are imminent, proclaiming, for instance, "1,160 New Jobs for Michigan! 12,000 MEGA Jobs are Helping Michigan Drive America's Renaissance"[84] or "Southeast Michigan Job Bonanza: 2,891 New Jobs Coming to Michigan: Delphi Automotive Systems Builds in Troy."[85] These releases certainly give the impression that the authority has been successful.
